Ready for the floor

Também não consigo parar de ouvir o Made in the dark, último álbum do Hot Chip. Passei os primeiros quatro meses um tanto "sumida" da internet que estava perdendo os lançamentos musicais do ano. Acima coloquei o vídeoclipe da música Ready for the floor.

Jukebox

Tirando um pouco das teias e poeira do meu blog, vou elogiar o novo álbum da Cat Power.

Já na primeira audição de Jukebox, vieram à tona as mesmas sensações do seu show na última edição do Tim Festival, em Vitória. Muito disso devido o Dirty Delta Blues, banda que a acompanhou nas apresentações e no novo álbum, além do setlist composto por muitas músicas de Jukebox. O clima é intimista e sensual. Algumas músicas mais animadas me lembram o rock e blues dos Rolling Stones. Dá para comparar a diferença dos álbuns anteriores para o novo ouvindo a música "Naked if I want to" nas versões do The Covers Record e do disco bônus da edição limitada de Jukebox (não sei como disponibilizar para vocês, mas é fácil de encontrar pela web).

Eu que não esperava muito do seu show, por preferir a Feist, fiquei encantada pela sua presença de palco e voz.

A música preferida da vez está no disco bônus de edição limitada, Breathless de Nick Cave. Não consigo parar de ouvir.

Now I'm back to my good state of mind. No more Rachael Yamagata's songs for a while. LOL =)

Daqui a pouco vou tomar um chá de cadeira no consultório médico e mais tarde vou checar se meus olhos, que me incomodaram a semana inteira e hoje que vou ao oftamologista está melhor, estavam realmente com algum problema.

Para alegrar o dia, uma música do Dave Matthews Band, que voltei a escutar depois que o "Renatinho eu te amava" começou a postar no fotolog junto com suas ilustrações.

Depois da Feist outro canadense não pára de tocar no meu winamp. Rufus Wainwright possui uma voz belíssima e suas músicas têm arranjos e letras cativantes. Vale a pena baixar os álbuns Poses e Release the stars (por enquanto os que já ouvi). Antes disso podem ouvir no meu multiply algumas músicas dele.
